Trust Administration Review The Law Commission has just released its second discussion document of a planned four, as part of a complete review of the law and practice of Trusts in New Zealand. This is long overdue and Government is talking about the possibility of creating a register for Trusts and making other changes to the legal structures within which Trusts operate. We believe that it is critically important to review all aspects of record-keeping in relation to Trusts at this time to ensure that the Trust is continuing to provide you with the protection you had in mind when the Trust was first settled. We will be approaching client Trusts in the near future to initiate the review process.
